I am an enthusiastic and energetic person aiming to improve my surroundings and focus on what is positive. I am from Oslo, currently living in Vardø, at the very far north of Norway. I have also spent some years in Mexico.
Work
In 2003 I founded the company GB mobile. The company's headquarter is located in Mexico City, and the company delivers mobile technology related to SMS and WAP in Latin America.
I moved back to Norway in order to work as a consultant in McKinsey & Company.
Later I became the temporarily CEO of Apparat during a migration process.
Now I am running my own small consultant company Cloudware, developing web applications using Google App Engine and Google Web Toolkit, as well as helping companies with their IT strategies, and how to take advantages of cloud services.
I am also in the process of establishing two new High tech startups in Vardø.
Finally I have established the company Vardø Kultureiendom together with Heidi Kvernevik and Birgitte Sveen. We are working to restore the prestigious "Husegården" in Vardø and create a small Innovation Center.
Studies
I hold a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Oslo. Here I was involved in several interesting projects related to telecoms and GIS systems. As a part of my masters thesis, I developed a framework for Google Earth allowing feeding Google Earth clients with GIS information. I have also been to Gründerskolen, where I spent three months in Silicon Valley.
Interests
I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, canoing, biking and skiing. I am also addicted to innovation, technology and start ups.
